"Location Information"
This Grade II listed building, situated on the resort's central promenade, was built in 1897 on land once occupied by salt water swimming baths, surrounded by the gardens from which the name is derived.
The original facilities included 3 plunge baths, 24 private baths and 2 medicated baths and soon afterwards an entertainment complex was added, known as the 'People’s Palace', as an extension to the first Winter Gardens building (now demolished) and the two buildings were advertised as ‘The Victoria Pavilion and Oriental Ballroom’.
The event will commence at 9:00pm and conclude at 5:00am.
The night will consist of many vigils lasting between 45 mins - 1 hour where you will have complete access to this magnificent building steeped in history
